Spring Has Sprung

Spring is here and for me, and many others that means joyful runs outside, time to plant the tomatoes and allergies.

I have never been a particular allergic person, but something got to me on Long Island this weekend. Now I have taken a couple of days off work to fight viral laryngitis. It is nothing that a couple of days of rest, Sudafed and Ben Jerry's Ice cream can't fix.

The good news is this comes off the back of one of my best runs ever. It was a half marathon in East Meadow, Long Island. My time was quick. I felt strong and I PR'ed.

I suppose everything comes with a price.
