Weight Change


Healthworks has a new toy and it is adorable.

The Smart Bell.

The Smart Bell is the pretty cousin of the dumbbell. It is covered in bright colored plastic and in the shape of a disc.

The gimmick is that these things are easier to hold onto while its shape allows for smooth movement around you hips and head.

I haven't knocked myself out yet, but I am grateful that I have health insurance.

Plus there is nothing sillier than standing in front of a mirror wearing spandex, wiggling your hips and a Frisbee looking weight in time with Britney Spears.

All that said the Smart Bell is wicked cute, and maybe just a bit ridiculous.

Lazy Weekend

I didn't bother to do a long run this weekend. Therefore, this morning, Labor Day Monday, I woke up at the crack of dawn to shove in as many miles as I could before heading to work. I almost made my goal, but only had 10 minutes to get ready for work. The miracle is I was only 5 minutes late.
